Juventus eye Zirkzee for attack, Bonny and Lucca also on shortlist

Start

Thiago Motta’s dream signing for Juventus’ attack remains Joshua Zirkzee, who flourished under his guidance at Bologna. Currently struggling for playing time at Manchester United with only 398 minutes in the Premier League and one goal scored on August 16, Zirkzee has become an intriguing prospect for the Turin club.

However, as Tuttosport report, Juventus’ chances of securing Zirkzee in January hinge on Manchester United’s willingness to agree to a loan deal, potentially with a fee. The Bianconeri could leverage Cristiano Giuntoli’s good relationship with agent Kia Joorabchian, who also represents Douglas Luiz, to facilitate the move. If a January transfer proves impossible, discussions may resume in the summer.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also monitoring another rising star in Serie A: Ange Yoan Bonny, a French forward born in 2003 currently playing for Parma. Bonny has caught the attention of Napoli and AC Milan, but Juventus has a history with the player, having nearly signed him for their Next Gen team three years ago. The club continues to track his progress, and a renewed interest in acquiring Bonny is not out of the question.

While Lorenzo Lucca remains a more concrete option for Juventus, the club’s pursuit of Zirkzee and interest in Bonny demonstrate their commitment to strengthening their attacking options in the near future.
