The Portuguese youngster, who joined Chelsea just last summer, has made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, showcasing his versatility by featuring in the Premier League, Conference League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup.
Interestingly, Juventus’ pursuit of Veiga does not rule out their interest in Lloyd Kelly from Newcastle United. The Bianconeri are still considering a move for the 26-year-old English defender, provided the conditions are favorable. Kelly has been a consistent performer for Newcastle this season, appearing in 13 matches, including nine in the Premier League.
Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is working diligently to reinforce the squad, with defense being a priority. The potential acquisition of Veiga is seen as a coup for Juventus, given the player’s potential and the competition they faced from other clubs, including Borussia Dortmund.
