Lazio’s winning streak continued as they secured a 3-0 victory against Bologna, with one of the standout performers being Nicolò Rovella. The young Italian talent, who has also recently earned a call-up to the national team, shared his thoughts in a post-match press conference.
The 23-year-old midfielder spoke about his current form: “The work I did this summer has helped me a lot. I’m just focusing on one match at a time. This team has great potential for improvement.”
When asked about Juventus, who still own his registration, Rovella was unequivocal in his response: “I only think about Lazio, I don’t talk about Juventus, it’s not on my mind. I only think about Lazio where I hope to stay forever. At the end of the match, it’s always wonderful to celebrate with the fans to thank them.”
Addressing the team’s position in the league table and his personal growth, Rovella added: “We’re not blind, we can see the league table too. However, we think about one match at a time because otherwise it’s easy to stumble. I hope you’ve seen little of me yet. I feel I still have great room for improvement, especially in the offensive phase. I hope to give even more to these colours.”
