Juventus and Saudi clubs eyeing Napoli’s Anguissa

Start

Napoli midfielder André Frank Zambo Anguissa has caught the attention of several Saudi Arabian clubs, notably Al-Nassr, according to French news outlet Footmercato. The former Fulham player, who joined Napoli in the summer of 2022, is under contract with the club until June 30, 2025, but his contract includes a foreign release clause set at €45 million.

TMW report  that for months, Juventus, under the direction of Cristiano Giuntoli, has shown interest in Anguissa. However, Napoli stood firm during the January transfer window, refusing to entertain offers. Now, with the emergence of interest from Saudi Arabia, the situation could become more complex.

Saudi clubs have been increasingly active in the transfer market, looking to attract top talent from Europe. The significant financial resources of these clubs mean that the €45 million release clause might not be a substantial obstacle.

Anguissa was part of Napoli’s title winning squad, making 116 appearances and scoring 5 goals over three seasons with the club.
