Inter and Juventus have asked for more information on the availability of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian international looks set to finally leave the capital after almost a decade with the Biancocelesti, choosing to leave this summer rather than pen a contract extension.
Juventus have been linked with the midfielder for a number of years and may finally make an approach to sign him in the weeks ahead.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that both Inter and Juve have made an enquiry for the 28-year-old.
Sky claim Lazio have reportedly slapped a €40m price-tag on Milinkovic-Savic, given that he’s into the last year of his contract, while SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla reports the figure to be closer to €30m, with up to €10m in bonuses.
Pedulla also states that Juve look the more likely of the two sides to snag the midfielder, despite not having Champions League football next season, while Inter will focus their attentions on Davide Frattesi instead.
