Juventus are working to find a resolution on the contract of Alex Sandro, despite the player having triggered an automatic extension earlier this season. The 32-year-old was originally set to leave the club at the end of the month, but certain performance related stipulations in his deal resulted in the triggering of a one-year extension.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio now writes that the Bianconeri are at work to terminate the contract of the Brazilian international. The club are reportedly in talks with Sandro to reach an agreement that would allow him to leave for free this summer.
The journalist also reports that Turkish Super Lig winners Galatasaray are interested in signing Sandro this summer, as they continue a trend of signing Serie A players.
Sandro joined Juventus in 2015 from Porto and went on to become a mainstay of the starting XI, making 309 appearances and scoring 15 goals in eight seasons for the Bianconeri.
