Inter wing-back Juan Cuadrado is close to making his return to action after spending almost four months on the sidelines with injury. The 35-year-old made the controversial move last summer, joining the Nerazzurri after an eight-year spell with rivals Juventus.
Despite the initial skepticism surrounding his transfer, Cuadrado gradually won over the Inter fanbase with some positive performances, however, his season was marred by a recurring Achilles tendon problem, which forced him to make several stops during the first half of the campaign.
In December, Cuadrado and the club opted for surgery to address the issue, and since then, he has been focused on his recovery. Now, as his return to action draws near, Cuadrado took to social media to share his excitement at returning to action:
“I miss doing what God made me for, but with faith, I will return to the pitch soon, because we who love God are helped to obtain the best out of all things.”
