John Elkann, the head of the Agnelli family, responded to Juve’s recent points deduction, saying its been a ‘difficult time on and off the pitch’ for Juventus. The Bianconeri have been handed a 10-point penalty by the FIGC Court for alleged capital gains, following new evidence from the Prisma Trial. Speaking to journalists at an event at Bocconi University, Elkann addressed the latest developments and also touched on the future of coach Max Allegri:
“It is a difficult time on and off the pitch, Juventus has always faced adversity and has always grown stronger through adversity.”
“Today I spoke with our coach Allegri. He feels the responsibility of our history and is determined with our team to face the next two games to qualify for Europe on the pitch.”
