Vincenzo Italian says his Fiorentina team is full of energy ahead of the season resuming and their visit to face Milan. La Viola signed off for the interntional break with a hard-fought win over high-flying Bologna, something Italiano believes the team can use to their advantage when they travel to the San Siro tomorrow:
“We start off full of energy, motivated. We come from a victory that allowed us to restart and put points on the table in the championship, we want to improve our standing in the league even if we have a difficult match in front of us. Let’s see what the answers will be tomorrow. There is a good atmosphere, we had 15 days without the national team, but we worked with great intensity, the victories make us work in a different atmosphere.
How are Beltran and Kayode?
“Beltran is well, he has intensified is training this week and is with us. Kayo is much better but we prefer to keep him in Florence and train him for the next matches as we have another important match on Thursday. We don’t have Ranieri who is disqualified but the others are well and we are loaded.”
What to expect against AC Milan?
“They are strong and even if they seem to be struggling they always have great reactions. The atmosphere will be very hot with the fans, for us it will be a test and we will have to show balance and continuity. They will have some absentees like everyone else, but it’s always a very high-level squad with a coach of great quality. After the breaks we have always had some difficulties, we must show that we have grown”.
