Vincenzo Italiano was full of praise for his Fiorentina side after their 5-1 win against Frosinone: “We managed to be concrete.” La Viola had five different goal scorers during the victory, with Jonathan Ikone being the standout performer after he set up the opening goal and scored the second. Speaking with Sky Sport Italia, Italiano shared his thoughts on the game and performance:
“We can talk about tactics, formations, and strategies, but attitude and the hunger to win always remain more important. We managed to be concrete: we scored with everyone, even with Belotti, who deserved the goal the way he arrived. Finally, in 2024, we managed to win a match. We must continue with this enthusiasm and confidence in our ability to do well.”
Italiano then continued about Belotti: “What he showed on the field today should be the spirit for every forward: he has led the entire team. In training, we must continue to push hard and fight for the shirt. On Wednesday, we have a very difficult match: let’s think positively.”
