When asked about the Champions League final being the ultimate objective, Inzaghi responded, “That’s the goal of all teams, especially for someone like me who coaches a team like Inter. It’s not simple because playing so much is no small feat. I’m fortunate to have these players.”
Addressing the team’s slight dip in performance towards the end of the match, Inzaghi explained, “Not having scored the second goal, we lowered a bit in the last 20 minutes. The team was good at maintaining distances. Playing every two and a half days, you need to try to play as many players as possible.”
