Simone Inzaghi believes Inter’s Champions League match against Atletico Madrid will be ‘a great challenge between two high-level teams’. The Nerazzurri coach shared his thoughts on the tie which begins at the San Siro on February 12 2024:
“It will be a great challenge between two high-level teams with an important public. We are happy because we continue to face real teams with continuity.
“This is the history of our club and we want to try to give more joy to our fans. I have a great relationship with Diego Simeone, together we won the Scudetto at Lazio.
“Before preparing for these two battles there will be the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.”
