Inzaghi close to agreeing Inter contract renewal

Start

Inter and Simone Inzaghi are close to agreeing a contract renewal, with talks progressing with agent Tullio Tinti. Calciomercato report that yesterday’s first meeting went well, and today’s second meeting will likely be the final act.

Tinti, armed with a pen and ready to sign an agreement, will arrive at the meeting later today, and the deal is expected to be a two-year contract, with Marotta promising to meet Inzaghi’s demands.

Before the meeting, there will be a quick consultation with Oaktree’s top executives, and then the negotiation process will begin. The Inter management are reportedly keen to resolve the matter quickly, and it is expected that the next meeting will take place on Friday.

The meeting will focus on the team’s transfer operations so far. Step by step, Inter is confirming its structure, which has allowed it to grow progressively. Yesterday’s announcement of Barella’s contract renewal was followed by reports of Inzaghi’s impending deal, with Lautaro Martínez’s contract renewal expected to follow after the Copa America.

According to Calciomercato sources, Inzaghi’s new contract will include a salary of around €6 million per season, with bonuses tied to results and sporting objectives. The coach has been instrumental in Inter’s success this season, and his renewal is seen as a significant step forward for the team.
