Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi addressed the media ahead of his team’s upcoming Serie A match against Roma. The coach discussed various topics, including the team’s preparation, player fitness, and tactical considerations.

Inzaghi emphasized the importance of maintaining focus after the international break, stating, “The national team break should not influence us. Before the break, we had three victories, and we must continue our path.” He acknowledged that some players returned with minor issues but assured that the team had trained well in the past few days.

Regarding Roma’s playing style under Ivan Juric, Inzaghi said, “We know what kind of opponent we’re going to face. Juric has brought his philosophy to Roma, and we need to be ready to play an important game, both in possession and without the ball.”

The coach provided an update on player availability, mentioning that Zielinski would be absent due to a minor problem and Asllani had suffered a slight knee sprain. However, he highlighted the opportunity for young talent, saying, “We will bring Berenbruch, who is a very promising boy from the youth team.”

Inzaghi praised the integration of new signings, crediting the existing players for helping them adapt. He expressed satisfaction with their performances, noting, “Some have played more, some less, but my goal is to try to get them all to play their games in the best way.”

When asked about Marcus Thuram’s improved goal-scoring form, Inzaghi explained, “His way of playing hasn’t changed. There are some small adjustments we work on daily with the staff, but the important thing is that he continues to work as he has done in this last year and a half.”

Looking ahead to the busy schedule, Inzaghi acknowledged the challenges of seven games in twenty days. He emphasized the need to utilize the entire squad, saying, “We will try to draw on the whole squad, knowing that we have players who daily try to put me and my staff in difficulty for the choices.”
