Sky Sport Italia report that Inter are hard work to renew the contracts of Lautaro Martinez, Nicola Barella, Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca di Marzio reports that ‘with the Nerazzurri in first place in Serie A and Champions League qualification guaranteed, the objective for the club is to adjust the contract of each player in order to maintain the framework of a team that makes the group its main strength.’
According to Di Marzio, ‘over the next few days – or rather, by the end of the year – the renewals of Dimarco and Mkhitaryan will be closed and then made official; both, therefore, will adjust their contracts accordingly.
For Dumfries, on the other hand, negotiations between the club and his entourage continue: some more time will be needed.
As anticipated a few days ago, Lautaro Martinez’s agent met with Inter to talk about a contractual adjustment. There is no hurry as far as the ‘Toro’ situation is concerned. One thing is certain: should they materialise, Lautaro and Barella will be the most important renewals in 2024.’
