La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Inter are already lining up a replacement for Denzel Dumfries and have set their sights on Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui. Dumfries looks ever more likely to leave Milan this summer as Inter need at least one big sale to balance their books, and Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing the 26-year-old.
La Gazzetta report that Mazraoui is back at the top of the Nerazzurri’s shopping list as far as looking for a full-back is concerned, and they are ready to make a drastic change, similar to the one that saw Achraf Hakimi join PSG.
According to the report, Dumfries wants a move to the Premier League and Chelsea and Manchester United have made their interest in the player known, while the player’s agent has already had contact with both clubs during the January transfer window.
Inter are waiting for eventual offers and value the Dutchman at no less than €50 million and are not willing to accept technical counterparts in the deal, only cash. The money from the potential sale of Dumfries will then have to be reinvested (in part) in the transfer market and will be directed towards trying to sign Mazraoui, who has already been chosen by Marotta and Ausilio.
