Inter want Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie

Start

Inter are reportedly interested in former Milan midfielder Franck Kessie who is unhappy with his situation at Barcelona. The Ivorian made the switch to the Nou Camp in the summer, joining on a free transfer having just won the Serie A title with the Rossoneri, but a lack of playing time under coach Xavi means he could look elsewhere.

Il Corriere dello Sport report that the Ivorian has found little space in the starting XI at Barca and could be considering a switch in the January transfer window.

Corriere suggest that the players agent Georges Mbassi Atangana contacted the Nerazzurri management to offer the player to the club having already contacted Milan regarding a prospective return and being turned down.

According to the report, the move to Inter could only go through if it were initially a loan with Barcelona making a contribution to the players €6.5 million a season salary.
