Inter are closing in on a deal for Club Brugge full-back Tajon Buchanan and could agree a transfer in January. The Nerazzurri are keen to invest in the window as they need a replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who is set to miss a sizeable chunk of the season with a Achilles tendon issue that will require operation.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Buchanan is viewed as a good option for Inter, given his flexibility, but they will face competitions from Manchester City for his signature.
Gazzetta claim that Club Brugge have dropped their request for the player from €12m to €10m plus bonuses, which Inter are open to, and Inter president Steven Zhang has given his OK for the transfer.
Buchanan is expected to pen a five-year contract with Inter and is reportedly keen to make the switch to Italy, with Brugge having dropped him for their last two league matches.
