Inter are set to offer defender Milan Skriniar a new deal worth between €6-6.5 million per season when contract extension talks resume. The Nerazzurri are keen to keep their star defender in the face of ongoing interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter are set for talks with the players representatives next week to try and agree terms on a new deal.
The new offer is expected to bring Skriniar in line with the top earners at the club and while they can’t compete with PSG’s salary offer, they’re expected to offer €6-6.5 million net per season.
While talks are yet to begin in earnest, it’s thought that the defender is keen to remain in Milan, given his history with the club which dates back to 2017.
