Sky Sport Germany report that Inter have a verbal agreement in principle with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Benjamin Pavard. The 27-year-old has been a long-standing target for the Nerazzurri and has spoken in the past of being a fan of the club.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Inter’s offer to Bayern is ‘close to €30m’, including various add-ons, despite Italian reports suggesting the bid was €25 million.
Plettenberg outlines how Bayern have not yet rejected Inter’s offer, but want more for the Frenchman, who they reportedly value at close to €35 million, despite only having a year left on his contract with the Bavarians.
Pavard has reportedly informed Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and coach Thomas Tuchel of his desire to leave the club after four seasons with the German champions.
