La Gazzetta dello Sport report that it’s only a matter of days before Federico Dimarco renews his contract with Inter until 2028. The 25-year-old has emerged as the Nerazzurri’s first-choice left-back in the last season, playing 37 games across all competitions and scoring 5 goals in the 2022-23 campaign.
La Gazzetta now report that a meeting has taken place in recent days between the Nerazzurri executives and Roc Nation, the agency that represents Dimarco. The parties are close to the agreement, so much so that the player should soon sign a contract extension and a salary adjustment that will take him from €1.8 million to €4 million net per season.
The new deal is expected to run until 2028 and includes a gradual increase salary, season by season. The newspaper also suggest the will of the player has played an important part, as Dimarco is keen to remain with Inter for the foreseeable future.
