Inter are on the lookout for a midfielder to strengthen their squad and has set their sights on Tanner Tessmann, a 22-year-old American midfielder currently playing for Venezia. However, newly promoted Serie A teams Parma and Como are also interested in acquiring Tessmann.
Sky Sport Italia report how both Parma and Como are making efforts to sign the young midfielder. Despite their interest, the high wage demands for Tessmann are considered excessive by all three clubs, including Inter. The coming days will be crucial in determining whether the USMNT player will move closer to joining one of these teams.
Tessmann joined Venezia in July 2021 and has been a key player for the team. His contributions were instrumental in helping Venezia return to Serie A after two years in Serie B. In the recently concluded season, Tessmann made 42 appearances across the league, playoffs, and Coppa Italia, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists.
