Calciomercato report how Yann Bisseck, the young German defender, has recovered from his injury sustained during the Supercoppa derby loss against AC Milan in Saudi Arabia. The 23-year-old is expected to be available for selection, at least for the bench, in Inter’s upcoming away fixture against Lecce. Bisseck’s versatility could prove crucial for manager Simone Inzaghi, who may deploy him in the centre of the three-man defence to provide rest for Stefan de Vrij, especially with Francesco Acerbi still sidelined.
Acerbi, who turns 37 next month, continues to struggle with fitness issues that have kept him out of action for the last 14 matches since suffering a muscular injury in Verona on November 23.
