Inter have reportedly begun talks with Udinese to try and sign talented young Serbian midfielder Lazar Samardžić. The Nerazzurri are looking to add depth to their midfield ahead of the new season, and have been tracking the 21-year-old starlet for several months.
Samardžić had a breakout campaign with Friulani in 2022-23, scoring 5 goals in 39 appearances, while attracting the attention of a number of Serie A’s biggest clubs.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia now report that Inter have taken the first steps in order to sign the young Serbian, making Udinese a loan bid, with an obligation to sign Samardžić for between €18-25 million next summer.
Inter are also trying to include youngster Giovanni Fabbian in the deal, including a buyback clause for the 20-year-old talent.
