Inter have begun the search for a long-term replacement for Milan Skriniar and are scouting Anderlecht defender Zeno Debast. The Nerazzurri have five months until Skriniar’s departs the club to join PSG, and the club are being linked with a variety of centre-backs, from Serie A and across Europe.
Het Nieuws Blad report that Inter scouts were present to watch Debast play for Anderlecht in their 0-0 draw with Royal Antwerp last month, and the youngster impressed.
Debast is a product of the club’s youth setup and only made his senior debut two years ago, while also earning his first call up to the Belgian national side in 2022 during the Nations League.
The young defender is expected to cost around €10m and is able to play in multiple roles across the back-line and even as a defensive midfielder.
