Inter are considering Tottenham Hotspur full-back Emerson Royal as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries, should they choose to sell the Dutchman. There are reports that the Nerazzurri are looking to cash in on their wing-back in an effort to inject some cash into the club, allowing them to meet certain financial targets for the year.
Il Corriere dello Sport (via L’Interista) report that Dumfries is being linked with a move to Chelsea in January which could see them earn up to €40 million in transfer fees.
The Nerazzurri will reportedly look to Emerson Royal as a possible replacement as the 23-year-old Brazilian has struggled to settle in North London, and could be allowed to leave in the January window.
Emerson came close to joining Inter in 2021 when they were searching for a replacement for Achraf Hakimi and this time round, they could attempt to sign him on loan with an option to sign outright.
