Inter have reportedly made an approach for Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez to sound out his availability. The 33-year-old veteran is into the final weeks of his existing contract with Los Blancos and is set to leave the club as a free agent at the end of June.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the Nerazzurri have approached Nacho to find out the conditions of a potential free transfer this summer.
Inter are set to lose Milan Skriniar to PSG in the coming weeks, and will be in the market for another centre-back.
Romano also reports that Nacho is unlikely to renew with Real Madrid as there is ‘no green light’ on a contract extension.
