La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Mehdi Taremi is looking to make the switch to Inter in the summer, making them his ‘priority’. The Iran international has been a long-standing target for the Nerazzurri, dating back to last summer when he came close to making the move.
The 31-year-old has a contract with Portuguese side Porto until June 2024, but has rejected renewal talks in favour of making a move in the summer.
La Gazzetta report that the players entourage has been in talks with Inter for a number of weeks, and Taremi has reportedly prioritised a move to the Nerazzurri for the 2024-25 season.
Inter are expected to shell out around €1.8 million to secure the deal, with Taremi having already turned down the option to join city rivals AC Milan.
