Juventus and Inter are being linked with Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, whose contract is set to end in June 2024. Italian press report that the Polish international has been in talks with the Partenopei over a contract extension for some months, but has failed to agree terms on a new deal.
The 29-year-old was courted by a number of Saudi Arabian sides in the summer, but opted to remain in Naples, saying he wasn’t ready to leave Europe just yet.
Il Corriere dello Sport now report that Juventus and Inter are closely following Zielinski’s situation, suggesting that he may be unlikely to renew with Napoli due to the lack of a significant offer.
The newspaper claim that the Bianconeri and Nerazzurri will need to be ready for an outlay of around €20-25 million: A three year-contract at around €5 million per season plus a €5 million signing bonus.
