Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted a cryptic message on his social media account, while Sky Sport Italia explain that the Swede is expected to have an ‘operative role’ when he returns to Milan. The former Rossoneri striker met with club owner Gerry Cardinale yesterday, with speculation mounting that he is set to take on a managerial role with Milan.
Sky Sport Italia now report that the role of the former Swedish striker will be in the sports area and will be fully ‘operational’, as Ibrahimovic himself wanted.
He will likely be the intermediary between the club and the Milanello training centre and should be a sort of ‘general manager’ of the Milan sports area. He will be a point of reference for the team and, as Sky claim, a ‘strong man’ for Cardinale.
There has therefore been a ‘pact between Cardinal and the Swede’ and in the coming days (in a short time) economic and contractual agreements will be found. the club are expected to make an official announcement in the coming week.
