Davide Frattesi has firmly dismissed rumours of a potential departure from Inter Milan, expressing his happiness with the club and its supportive environment. After scoring in Inter’s impressive 4-0 victory over Lecce, Frattesi spoke to Sky, stating, “I am extremely happy to be here, starting from the group to all the staff. I am in a family, and I strive to give back in any way I can. Sometimes things go well and sometimes they don’t, but I’m happy here.”
Frattesi’s remarks come amid speculation regarding his future, fuelled by limited playing time and interest from clubs like Roma and Napoli. However, he made it clear that he values his current situation at Inter.
Coach Simone Inzaghi also praised Frattesi’s contributions to the team, stating, “We have talked; he was the secret last year along with those who played less for the achievement of the second star. He made a difference, and in those matches where he had to step in for others, we didn’t feel his absence.” Inzaghi emphasized the importance of Frattesi’s role within the squad, highlighting his performance in recent games.
Despite ongoing transfer rumours, Inter appears reluctant to let Frattesi go unless a substantial offer is made. The club has reportedly set a high asking price of €45 million for the midfielder.
