Calciomercato confirm that the French midfielder suffered a foot injury during France’s 2-1 victory over Belgium in the Nations League on Monday evening. Guendouzi received a kick to his right foot and was subsequently substituted in the 73rd minute by national team coach Didier Deschamps.
Fortunately for Lazio, medical examinations have ruled out any fractures to the fifth toe of Guendouzi’s foot. The player will attempt to recover in time for the match, potentially making the bench.
