FIGC President Gabriele Gravina is expected to intervene on the behalf of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovics’ booking against Atalanta this weekend. The Juventus striker was subject to a chorus of racist insults during the Bianconeri’s 2-0 win over La Dea, and was promptly booked after scoring the second goal for the Bianconeri and celebrating in front of the Curva at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
Sky Sport Italia claim that as he did with Romelu Lukaku, Gravina is expected to step in and challenge the booking to Vlahovic once another caution triggers a disqualification for the striker.
A response to the racist chants is expected from the sporting judges in the coming days.
