Fiorentina goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini is undergoing his Napoli medical today and is expected to trade places with Salvatore Sirigu, who will join Fiorentina. The swap deal between the two clubs was agreed last week and is expected to be finalised today.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Gollini is currently undergoing his medical with the Partenopei with Sirigu expected in Florence soon.
The deal for Gollini is expected to be a loan with an option to buy for €8m in June, while Sirigu’s switch will be a dry loan until the end of the season.
The 36-year-old joined Napoli on a free transfer last summer but is yet to feature for the Partenopei this season, and wants to leave the club. Meanwhile, Gollini has managed just three league appearances for Fiorentina this campaign and is expected to be backup to Alex Meret in Naples.
