Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli suggested the club may make some sales in the summer, while Max Allegri’s future will be decided when the season ends. The Bianconeri boss was speaking ahead of the Derby della Mole against Torino, and offered some insights into the clubs immediate future:
“Elkann’s words were pleasing and flattering. They serve as a great motivation for us to strive even harder,” he remarked.
Turning to discussions about the future of coach Massimiliano Allegri and Giovanni Manna, Giuntoli stated, “Regarding Manna, we are in talks with him to understand his future path, always respecting our club’s interests. As for the future, we are very focused on the present. At the beginning of the year, we set goals for ourselves, and we are on track with what we hoped to achieve. At the end of the season, we will have the opportunity to assess Juventus’ future and set objectives by discussing with the coach. Allegri still has a year left on his contract and is doing a great job. At the end of the season, we will sit down and talk with him.”
Addressing potential transfers, Giuntoli emphasized the importance of Champions League revenue in shaping the club’s budget. “We have discussed many players with the coach for the future. But at this moment, we cannot make elaborate plans because our budget will primarily be determined by our participation in the Champions League. It will also be influenced by any sales we can make. There are too many variables right now to plan. We are starting over, and it requires some patience,” he explained.
