Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli addressed the media at the Allianz Stadium press room to introduce new head coach Thiago Motta. During the conference, Giuntoli covered several key topics, including player transfers, squad composition, and future market strategies.
Giuntoli began by expressing gratitude to Thiago Motta for accepting the challenge of leading Juventus, wishing him the best of luck in his new role. He then provided an update on recent transfer activities:
“We have sold four players, including Kean and Kaio Jorge, and brought in three new ones: Douglas Luiz, Di Gregorio, Thuram, and also Cabal.”
Addressing rumors about players being excluded from the squad, Giuntoli clarified:
“I want to make an immediate clarification because I’ve read several things that are not true. I’ve read about players who are out of the squad, but that’s not the case. I want to emphasize that everyone is part of Juventus. They are all good guys. The market is still open, and we will make our considerations at the end. We would like to build a competitive team, and there will be further developments.”
Regarding future transfer plans, Giuntoli stated:
“We would like to strengthen the team with one more player for each department.”
The sporting director also confirmed the departure of Adrien Rabiot:
