Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli addressed several key issues facing the club in a pre-match interview before the Juventus-Cagliari game. He touched on player contracts, injuries, and the team’s overall strategy.

Regarding Weston McKennie, Giuntoli expressed satisfaction with the player’s retention: “At the beginning, we had some minor issues with the renewal. He was requested by some teams, but then we found an agreement, and we’re happy he stayed.”

On Paul Pogba’s situation, Giuntoli maintained a cautious stance: “First, we’re waiting for the final decision from CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport). He was a great player, but he’s been out for a long time. We’re waiting.”

Addressing Bremer’s injury and potential market moves, Giuntoli stated: “We’re sorry for him; he’s a great player. Clearly, the coach will have to make do with the valuable players he has, and we’ll see how the team reacts. Then in January, we’ll see if there are any opportunities, but it’s still too early.”

On Dusan Vlahovic’s contract renewal, Giuntoli was optimistic: “He’s a great player, and we’re enjoying him. We’re talking with his entourage, and we’re very confident about the future.”

Giuntoli also commented on Thiago Motta’s midfield rotation strategy: “He’s a coach who uses midfielders a lot. We have many, and they’re very good, so we’re confident about the future.”
