Juventus CFO Cristiano Giuntoli provided an update on the club’s transfer activities before the Champions League match against Club Brugge, focusing on several key points.
Giuntoli expressed optimism about finalizing Randal Kolo Muani’s transfer, stating, “I believe it will be soon, they are completing the final documents. Tomorrow we should be ready.” This aligns with previous reports about the transfer being in its final stages.
When asked about returning to competitiveness, Giuntoli said, “We are convinced we will soon be competitive again. We have started a journey, we will continue to change, but we believe we will soon return to being competitive.”
Regarding potential defensive reinforcements, he noted, “The goal is always to do the maximum. January is a particular market and you can’t always reach where you want. We will take interesting young players who can help us, and they will show their qualities along the way.”
On players like Douglas Luiz and Vlahovic, Giuntoli was clear: “We do not want to sell anyone. With Milik’s departures and two cruciate injuries, we want to strengthen the squad and not sell anyone – this is our clear intention.”
