Roma and Ligue 1 side PSG have reached an agreement over the transfer of midfielder Gini Wijnaldum. The Dutchman was one of a number of players expected to leave the French champions this summer after a muddling 2021-22 season where he failed to make a real impact.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reports that the two clubs have agreed a deal and the move has been given the green light.
Documents are now being drawn up for the contract signing with Romano reporting that the deal will be a loan move with the Giallorossi retaining an option to sign the 31-year-old outright next summer.
Wijnaldum spent six successful seasons with Premier League side Liverpool before making the move to PSG last summer, but spent much of the season coming on from the bench.
