Atalanta have agreed terms with Premier League side West Ham for the transfer of striker Gianluca Scamacca. The Azzurri international had been linked with a return to Italy, with Inter and Roma both reportedly vying for his signature.
Reports now indicate that La Dea have taken the lead in the race to sign Scamacca, with the deal reportedly at a very advanced stage.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that documents are being prepared for Scamacca’s transfer already. The transfer fee is expected to be a €25m fixed fee with up €5m in easy add ons.
The contract will also include a 10% sell on clause with the player set to travel later today, and medical tests booked in Italy.
