Genoa are in talks with Premier League side Tottenham regarding potential deals for both Djed Spence and Albert Gudmundsson. According to reports from Il Secolo XIX, the buy-out clause for Spence is set at around €8 million, and it is highly likely that the deal will go through.
The player himself has expressed his desire to continue in Liguria, as he has found himself very comfortable under coach Alberto Gilardino and believes he can further develop by playing regularly. The two clubs have agreed to extend the option deadline, initially set for the end of May, signaling their mutual willingness to complete the operation.
Tottenham could also be interested in Albert Gudmundsson, and discussions between the parties will continue. However, the asking price for the Icelandic player is over €30-35 million, with Inter and other Premier League clubs evaluating their next steps.
Among the players being monitored by Genoa’s scouting team is Eduard Spercjan, a 24-year-old offensive midfielder from Krasnodar, who was linked with Inter, Fiorentina, and Sassuolo last June.
