Gazzetta: ‘Milan want Jonathan David in January’

Start

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Milan will make a bid to Lille striker Jonathan David in the January transfer window. The Rossoneri were hoping to bring in a new forward in the summer transfer window, but were forced to make a late move for Fiorentina forward Luka Jovic.

Milan’s reliance on 37-year-old Olivier Giroud has frustrated some fans, and a string of recent defeats has only compounded the problem.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the club are now looking to bring in Canada international Jonathan David as early as January in a bid to get their season back on track.

The 23-year-old ticks a number of boxes for Milan and could be attainable for the club, given that his contract with Lille ends in June 2025.

A €40 million price-tag may require some negotiating from the Rossoneri, who are also following 27-year-old Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy.
