Gian Piero Gasperini was full of praise for striker Ademola Lookman and admitted that his own future needs to be resolved very soon. La Dea clinched the first European trophy in the clubs history thanks to a superb hat-trick from Lookman, and speaking post-match, Gasperini lavished praise on the Nigerian international:

“Koopmeiners and Ederson played excellently. Their performance was crucial for the team’s coverage and launching counterattacks,” he added.
