Galatasaray Express Interest in Roma’s Bryan Cristante

Start

Turkish giants Galatasaray have made an inquiry about Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante, signalling their continued interest in strengthening their squad with talent from the Italian Serie A.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Istanbul-based club, already boasting former Serie A stars like Osimhen, Icardi, and Mertens, is not content with just the impending arrival of Alvaro Morata from Milan, which follows Santiago Giménez’s move to Italy. They are now setting their sights on Cristante, a key figure in Roma’s midfield.

Cristante’s situation at Roma has become uncertain under Claudio Ranieri’s management. The Italian midfielder has faced challenges recently, including an ankle injury that sidelined him from late December to late January. He only just returned to action in Roma’s latest league match against Udinese.

This development comes at a time when Cristante’s role in the team appears to be diminishing. Ranieri’s tactical plans seem to have less room for the 28-year-old, making him a potential candidate for a move.
