Fiorentina are already at work to renew the contract of youngster Michael Kayode following his impressive start to the season. The 19-year-old began his career with Juventus before making the switch to La Viola’s youth setup in 2021, quickly rising through the ranks to play for the first team.
Sky Sport Italia report that after a series of impressive displays for Fiorentina this season, the club are now preparing to extend his contract for at least five years, with a rise in salary.
According to the report, club directors Daniele Pradè and Joe Barone are working in Milan to reach an agreement, with an official announcement expected very soon.
Kayode has already attracted the attention of Premier League club Arsenal as well as a number of Bundesliga sides.
