Fiorentina are prepared to listen to offers for Serbian striker Luca Jovic, according to reports from Italy. The former Eintracht Frankfurt forward made a famous €60m transfer to Real Madrid in 2019 but failed to make an impact for Los Blancos, eventually leaving for free to join La Viola last summer.
Despite having only played half a season, Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo reports that Fiorentina are already prepared to listen to offers for the player. The suggestion is that the players agent, Fali Ramadani, is already at work, looking for a new club for the 25-year-old.
Jovic has managed just three goals in Serie A in 17 appearances, taking his tally to seven goals in all competitions for La Viola. The striker was dropped to the bench in Fiorentina’s 1-0 defeat to Torino last night and despite coming on in 54th minute, he didn’t manage a shot on target.
It’s a far cry from his form in the Bundesliga where he scored 27 goals in a single season for Frankfurt, including 10 in the Europa League.
