Fiorentina unveil UEFA Conference League squad, Barak and three others excluded

Start

Fiorentina have  officially submitted their player list for the 2024/2025 UEFA Conference League campaign. Manager Raffaele Palladino has made his selections, which notably exclude Christensen, Barak, Brekalo, and Sabiri from the European competition.

The squad features a mix of experienced players and promising talents. Key inclusions are Yacine Adli, Lucas Beltran, and Edoardo Bove, who are expected to play significant roles in Fiorentina’s European campaign. The midfield is bolstered by the presence of Danilo Cataldi and Andrea Colpani, while the attack includes options like Jonathan Ikoné and Christian Kouamé.

Defensive reinforcements come in the form of Robin Gosens and Lucas Martinez Quarta, providing depth and experience to the backline. The goalkeeping duties will be shared between the experienced David De Gea and homegrown talent Pietro Terracciano.

The squad also includes players developed in Italy, such as Cristiano Biraghi, Rolando Mandragora, and Moise Kean, meeting UEFA’s homegrown player requirements. Riccardo Sottil and Luca Ranieri represent the club-trained contingent.

Additionally, young prospects Kayode, Comuzzo, and Martinelli have been included in List B, allowing them to participate without occupying spots in the main squad list.
