Fiorentina secure Kouame’s future with contract extension to 2027

Start

Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Ivorian forward Christian Kouame to extend his contract until 2027. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the deal is set to be officially signed on Thursday, October 17, extending Kouame’s commitment to the club by an additional two years beyond his previous contract, which was due to expire in June 2025.

The contract renewal demonstrates Fiorentina’s determination to retain a key player in their squad. Kouame, born in 1997, has been a regular starter for the team over the past two seasons under former manager Vincenzo Italiano and continues to play an important role under current coach Raffaele Palladino.

In the current season, Kouame has already made nine appearances for Fiorentina, including six in Serie A and three in the Conference League, split between qualifying rounds and group stage matches. His consistent involvement highlights his value to the team and explains why the club was keen to secure his services for the long term.
