Fiorentina are making significant moves in the final days of the winter transfer window, with their focus on reinforcing the attacking department. The latest target is Andrea Belotti, and the negotiations are progressing.
Sky Sport Italia report that following a meeting yesterday morning, Fiorentina continued discussions with Belotti’s agent this morning to reach an agreement on the terms of his contract and finalize the deal for his arrival in purple.
An agreement has been reached for a loan deal with a straightforward cost of €750,000. Belotti is expected to arrive in Florence tonight, January 31, and undergo the customary medical examinations on Thursday, February 1. Fiorentina subtly teased Belotti’s arrival with a post on their social media platforms.
With this development, it appears that the striker could join Fiorentina even if N’Zola doesn’t depart. During the first half of the season with Roma, Belotti made 14 appearances in Serie A, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
