Italian international Federico Chiesa has officially started his pre-season preparations with Juventus, but his future at the club remains uncertain. The 26-year-old winger reported to the J Medical center in Turin for routine medical tests, marking the beginning of his pre-season activities.
Chiesa, who recently returned from his honeymoon after getting married in Grosseto last Saturday, spent only a brief time at the medical facility. He was seen signing autographs for fans before departing, highlighting his continued popularity despite the transfer rumors surrounding him.
While Chiesa has begun training, he will not be joining his teammates for their pre-season camp in Germany. Instead, he will remain at Juventus’ Continassa training complex along with other players such as Mattia De Sciglio and Dean Huijsen. This separation from the main squad has fueled speculation about his potential departure from the club.
Juventus are reportedly open to selling Chiesa this summer, with his contract set to expire in June 2025. The club is said to be waiting for offers in the range of €25-30 million for the talented winger. Despite the transfer rumors, Chiesa is keen to work under new Juventus coach Thiago Motta before making any decisions about his future.
Several clubs, including Inter Milan, have been linked with a move for Chiesa. Inter are reportedly considering a potential free transfer next summer if Chiesa doesn’t extend his contract with Juventus.
